AFIEX - African Association of Importers and Exporters of Fishery Products
The AFIEX was created during the fourth international meeting between importers and exporters of seafood products that took place from 9 to 11 September 1998 in Agadir (Morocco).

The AFIEX is a platform to promote South-South exchanges, by federating professional associations of African countries in the field of fishery products, through the promotion of technical, scientific and economic cooperation with a view to developing a common African fisheries policy.

The AFIEX is also a forum for concertation, dialogue and the defense of the interests of fish trade operators throughout the African continent.

The presidency of AFIEX returned to Morocco in the person of Mr. Hassan SENTISSI and the headquarters of the Association is located in Morocco.
In addition to Morocco, the AFIEX Bureau is composed of six other countries, namely Mauritania, Namibia, Cameroon, Senegal and Guinea.
